BBQ
Hello Everyone,
The BBQ was very successful. There was some awesome food and we even had SAM come out to play a little football. It was a great turn out, but we always welcome more. We are looking forward to more great events to come. Please check the calendar and events page for future dates and times to plan ahead.

Hello Everyone,
For those of you who still check out the site regularly welcome back, and for everyone else, welcome to the MISA Website. We have a few updates.
1. We are going to have a table set up for some general info and signups the first two weeks of school, so please stop by and bring any and all of your friends. You may be able to win a free shirt!
2. There is a BBQ on September 3rd, at the BBQ pits across from the Event Center so again bring your friends and listen in, we will have some good food.
3. We will have a freecycle/recycle program going as well. Bring any tech items you might have (i.e. old crt monitors, old computers, other electronics), and we’ll freecycle to see if anyone wants to use your old belongings, then we will be recycling the leftovers.
Lets get ready for another great year at SJSU with the MISA!

Final Meeting April 30, 2008
Hello Everyone,
Our final meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 30th at 4:30pm in the Bowling Center. Food and Drinks will be provided. We will have a couple games of bowling afterwards.
Also, we will be looking for anyone interested in becoming an officer for the upcoming Fall Semester. We currently have 3 positions open: Secretary, Historian and Event Coordinator. If you are interested in any of these positions please email President@sjsumis.org.

Meeting April 16, 2008 and other events.
Hello everybody,
We will be having a meeting on April 16, 2008 at 4:15 in room BBC 204.
Speaker: Susan Rockwell, M.A. (Business & Technology Employement Specialist) will be coming from the San Jose State University Career Center to talk about how to make a professional self-introduction, and about current and upcoming position openings.
We will also be setting up for new officers. If you are interested then please attend to find out more about becoming an officer. (For those who cannot make it to the meeting, please e-mail us and let us know that you cannot make it but are interested in becoming an officer.)

April 2nd Meeting
Hello everyone,
Hope you all have/had a great spring break. We will continue our meetings with one on April 2nd. Our speakers will be Christian Baranda, a Senior Technical Services Engineer of The Solaria Corporation, and David Smith of 3Par. The meeting will be held in BBC 204 and begin at 4:30pm.
